This item contains photographs (names and occasion on the back of each), taken over the period the Southland Branch of the Ex-Wrens' Association functioned, 1953-2008.
In the last pocket of the album, is post card showing a picture of the stained glass window donated by the Ex-Wrens Association. Symbols depicting the branches and establishments in which the Wrens served are shown in the lower portion of the window. This window can be seen in the Naval Chapel of St Christopher, Auckland.

This small album holds Memorabilia relating to the Southland Branch of the Ex-Wrens' Association, 1953-2008.
The first pocket contains news clippings dated 1975: 1.RNZNS Reunion at Queenstown, Labour Weekend". The accompanying photo shows the organizing committee. Names and brief summary of the Ex-Wrens' Association are also given. Approximately 700 Wrens served during WWII. 2.A report of the planned event and programme for Labour Weekend.
