Scope and Contents
This item consists of a bundle of 38 Newsletters, each a assembled with a coloured cover and containing 8-12 papges. Each newsletter contains a report of the previous meeting; notices and reminders; news of individual members eg birth notices and other personal events.
Some newsletters contain reprints of articles from other regions'newsletters; Articles relating to care and cultivation of plants, pest eradication and sometimes a quiz/word search ond/or anecdote or joke.
NB: "Notices" - indicate reminders to members of meeting duties, date and venue of next meeting; overdue library books or forthcoming events and trips.
"Displays" - at most meetings members bring along a plant to display and these are recorded for at each meeting.
"Fundraising Activities" can include sales table at meetings, raffles, sale of plants, and similar activities.
