The Book, written by Society member 'Tarris McDonald' who features in minutes, on the orchid variety "Laelia Amoena" which has been developed since 1894. It is clearly written and well illustrated. The chronology of the developmentthis orchid is given on page 24. There it describes how Tarris himself bred the first generation pinks and purple cross.
