DEAR DOROTHY, Your airgraph written on 12th Dec arrived three days ago but as I had just posted one to you the day before, I put off answering it until this morning. I hope you and Lorrell Grant(?) managed to get over to Stewart Island for your holidays, if you did, I know you would enjoy yourselves. I see that you have heard Ces Dixon and Bill Spence speaking over the radio, by the time you get this you will probably have heard me as I spoke over it just after arriving in Italy. I hope the broadcasting crowd let you know in good time. Any mail is just beginning to catch up with me, in the hospital as I had a letter from Maisie, Aunty May, Ruby and one from Jock, two days ago, but as I will be leaving hospital any day now I should soon have a lot of it. I think most of my Christmas mail is still up at my unit. Rupert Hubber was telling me he will be leaving hospital also, any day now. Well Dot old dear I must close now, give my love to all at home and remember me to everyone. I will write you a decent letter in a few days time. Cheerio and lots of love. Your loving brother.
