DEAR DOROTHY, Two days ago I received two more letters from you and was pleased to hear from you again. I am out of hospital now and am gradually making my way back to my unit. I have not had much chance of writing this last week or so, on account of shifting about, however as soon as I get back to my old bus, I will be able to catch up. I just missed seeing Russell Henderson by a few days, but I know where to find him as soon as I get back to my unit. He is over here in Italy now. Tell Mum I saw Les Cockerill a few days ago, he is in hospital just now. You seem to be having quite a good time at the races and dances. I wrote to Mum yesterday so you should get this the same time as hers. Will say cheerio just now old dear. Lots of love and kisses. Your loving brother ERIC xxx
