DEAR DOROTHY I am not sure if I have written to you from this new address or not so here goes for a few lines. How are things with you, I suppose you are still busy at the nursing. I was a bit disappointed I did not get back to my own unit, but am hoping to do so later on. So far I have not done anything, not even had a drive. The weather is holding us up, we are getting plenty of rain and are wading about in lots of mud and slush. So far my mail has not caught up with me, but am hoping to get it any day now. I was hoping to have seen Barney, Cecil Dixon, Jack Fox and Russell Henderson by now, but have not down so, as yet. I am camped quite a few miles back from where they are. I dare say in a few days time I will have quite a few letters from you so will be busy answering them, it is alright getting settled in one place again. Will have to say cheerio just now old dear and will write again in a day or so. Lots of love and xxxx. Your loving brother. ERIC
