Dear Dorothy, Two days ago I received an airgraph from you, dated 25th May and was pleased to hear from you once more. Last night I had a letter from Mum and also an airgraph from Cecily Wills, so have a bit of writing to catch up. I have had very little time for writing this month and have been using these airgraphs mostly. However, if we do not go out on a job today I will make a start on a letter or two, this afternoon. I hope Mum is much better now, you will have to see that she looks after herself. I believe Dad is putting on a bit of weight, life must be agreeing with him. I was sorry to hear that Ray Dell had lost his mother. I haven’t seen Ray for quite a long time. Jock wrote a few days ago, he is still waiting to sail. Must say cheerio for now Dot. Lots of love & xxx. Your loving brother. Eric. xx
