Dear Dorothy, I received your welcome airgraph of 13th August, two days ago so now for a few lines in reply. I am writing this while waiting to get a load for the truck and in a day or so I hope to get time to write you a letter. I have just written one of them to Maisie and tonight will start a letter to Mum. Tell Charlie I will answer his letter as soon as I get it and also give him my regards. I am still managing to get a few swims in the sea, and can swim quite a fair way now as well as float. The grapes are ripe now and I have already accounted for quite a few bunches. It is just alright being able to pick them off the vines right in the camp area. I wrote to Sonny a few days ago, give him my regards. I wonder if Jock is home yet, he should be by now. Tomorrow I hope to see Russell for a few minutes as I will be passing his camping area. Well old dear I am afraid this is all the news I have for you at present so will sign off until later on. Cheerio & lots of love. Your loving brother, Eric xx
