23-11-44 Dear Dorothy, Well old dear, here goes for a few lines, until I get a chance to write you a letter tomorrow or the next day. How are things in the nursing business. I have just written home to thank you all for a cake and a tin of biscuits, I received them yesterday. We are getting a spot of mail and some parcels now so will be getting a letter or two from you tomorrow. Have you seen any sign of Cecil Dixon or Ray Dell, since they arrived home. I suppose Jock has settled down to home life by now, if those three get together they will have lots of fun. We are having a great time with our piano accordion band, and on Saturday night are playing in a concert to be held in the camp. Mum said in her letter that Kath and Alex, with their family, were going to stay with her for Christmas, so what a time you all will have, I wish I could be with you. Well old dear, I must sign off now. Best wishes for a good Christmas and New Year. Cheerio and lots of love. Your loving brother. Eric xxxxx
