Dear Dorothy, Two days ago I received another air letter card from you dated 11th November, so will answer it on this, as I had just posted you a letter, the day before. So you have seen Cecil Dixon, I’ll bet he is pleased to be home again, you will probably have seen Ray Dell by now. Those dances must be a very tame affairs, wait until we all get home, we should surely liven them up. Two nights ago a party of fifteen from our band and concert party, put in an hour’s entertainment at the American Red Cross Club, in a nearby town, this was our first performance outside the camp, and I am hoping we will be doing some more outside jobs. I was playing a borrowed set of drums that night, it was somewhat like old times. I suppose you and your girl friends will be going to a few dances during Xmas and New Year, I wish I could be with you. Well old dear, news has run out so will bring this scribble to a close & write again in a day or so. Cheerio and lots of love. Your loving brother. Eric. xxxxx
