Scope and Contents The book is constructed of painted silk pages with other materials used in the illustrations and the covers are cloth with a velvet backing and velvet ties. When laid open the book is 320 cm. wide. The spine and each page end is bound with a wooden rod.The book was the result of a collaborative effort by classes at several Southland schools.
