Overview
This interview was recorded as part of a project to celebrate of 125 years of Women's Suffrage in New Zealand. In her interview, Tracey recalls family history, her education and the lack of expectation that a girl should get an education. She notes her interest in sports. Tracey left school and home and got married to her first husband at a young age. She goes onto discuss her experience at Outward Bound and how this would influence her life going forward. Tracey discusses her varied employment history. Tracey remarried and has 2 sons. She describes the learning styles of home schooling and talks about her artistic interests. She also reflects on 125 years from the women getting the vote and discusses feminism.
