Materials Specific Details
A University Lecture Notes book, blue hard cover and red binding. Meeting records commence 13/10/1960 and continue to 17/2/71. WDFF meetings customarily opened with the reading of the 'Creed' but from this period a prayer for peace was also said until October 1966.
The focus on education continuedthroughout the year but also with an entire week devoted to education. Branch support continued for: Seacliff Hospital patient, IHC, Riverton Hospital Visiting, Blood Bank, Otago Hospital Chapels Appeal, Meals on Wheels, Oreti Surf Club, Dressmaking Classes,AFS,and Promotion of Wool. WDFF also initiated the local Debutante Ball.
A photograph is attached to the Minutes for 10 April 1969.
Insert: 1970, 40th Anniversary Dinner which was held 28/5/1970. It includes the agenda and list of Provincial Presidents plus the signatures of those present at the function.
