Coloured drawing of Peter Pan Sculpture fountain in Queens Park. J. B Thomson Bequest, Sculptor, Sir Charles Wheeler. Designed by L. G. H in 1964 and amended by L. G. H in 1965. Approved, signed and dated by the city engineer in 1962. Sheet no.2 out of 4. Plan no. 4063. Signature/ date; 1965 in bottom right. Scale: 1/4 in to 1 ft. Compass in middle of top edge. Circular shape diagram of the fountain [coloured blue on drawing] with the figure of a boy surrounded by representations of sealions sculpture on left, eagle sculpture at bottom and lions sculpture on right. Edge of fountain is tan coloured. The path and sculptures are coloured dark brown and grass is coloured green. Measurements and material notes all around fountain diagram. Section A-A & B-B diagrams in bottom half which appear to be fountain plumbing and diagram for fountain's floodlights. A-A is coloured and materials are labelled. B-B is not coloured. Numbers scribbled at top right, could be an equation?
This sculpture was unveiled by the Queen Mother on the 16 April 1966.
