From the information contained in the folder, Helen Forrest instigated the setting up of 'Impact Club' in Invercargill, to cater for the needs of the 28-40 year old age group who wer "too old" for Young farmers and Rotoract, but too young for Lions and Soroptimists. Impact Clubs used the Australian "28" Clubs as the model for their formation.

The photographs show members involved social and club activities eg community projects.
