Dear Dorothy,

I received your letter of 14th June just before going to dinner today and was pleased to hear from you once more. We have been waiting quite a while for this mail to arrive and just got a little of it today. The rest of it, we should get tomorrow and the next day it usually takes two or three days to get it all. What a pity you missed your few days at Riverton with Mona, it would have been a good break for you. I did not know until I read your letter that Kath and Alex had another addition to the family, give them my regards whenever you write to them. I’ll bet they are thrilled that the new arrival is a boy, Alex will be a proud
