Dear Dot, I guess it is about time I wrote you a line or two, seeing that I have been with big brother Eric for a few days last week. We had one rip snorting big binge which lasted three days. Christening Eric’s DCM was the excuse and believe me those ribbons looked to be all the colours of the rainbow at different periods. Phew! Did we drown them, but I suppose by now they are back to their original colour, now that all hands have staged a recovery. I wouldn’t like to say that Eric will be back to normal as he left on Saturday morning for Alex. where he is spending two weeks leave. He had a good wad of money with him & probably him & his cobbers will still be carrying on

Dear Dot, I guess it is about time I wrote you a line or two, seeing that I have been with big brother Eric for a few days last week. We had one rip snorting big binge which lasted three days. with the good work of christening. I’m not quite back to normal yet myself & the old tummy seems to be on fire. Gee, but it was well worth the after effects. I hadn’t seen Eric for about nine months & didn’t we have a chin wag (at times) or should I say when we were capable. Well Dot old girl, we sure had one jolly good time and if it had only been at home it would just have capped it of (sic). Phew, what would your mother think if she could have seen us? I guess she would just about take two loops & and land on both wheels. Poor old Barney McGirty just missed the party by one hour. Too bad, as he sure would have enjoyed himself. You will be thinking by now that I have reformed as I have not passed any complementary remarks about you so far. Well, young lady, I hate to disappoint you as I can still see your dainty wee frame. I do hope you don’t overwork yourself in the hospital. It would hurt

my feelings to see you all worn out & thin on it when I get home. Then again, it would just be too bad if I couldn’t get my great big long arms round your o.s. waist. Now, now, don’t strain yourself by imagining just what you are going to do to me when I get home. Eric showed me a snap or two of you in your uniform and by golly, I must say you do look nice. Yes, you can come over and nurse me any time you like. You know, I’m almost sure that you are missing me quite a lot. One thing I can say is that my ears are in good order now & believe me, I wouldn’t mind letting you swing on them. I miss the wild times we used to have at West Plains, but you may be sure I haven’t altered much and will be in good fighting trim when I do get to your place. It will just be too bad if Eric, Barney & I land there at the same time. Phew! what a wild house it will be.

I was quite tickled at you wishing that I was with you and having the audacity to think that you could poke me one under my little shell-pink ears, just to liven things up a bit. You can just bet your sweet little life that it would liven things up & I can almost see wee Dot getting put across my knee & spanked. Nursing me? tickles me all to bits & sure suits me fine. Don’t pine for me too much “lovey” or you may fade away to a shadow. HA. HA. Cheerio Dot Lots of love and kisses From Jock xxxxx xxxxx
