A large handmade quilt with messages of support to the soldiers of Kapuka and surrounding districts during World War One. Includes images such as horse shoes, flags and ferns, as well as the names of the women who stitched the tidings. Names included in the centre of the quilt: President - Charlotte Birch, Secretary - Gladys Birch, Treasurer - Alice Miller, and Worked by - Sarah Aspray.
