Lancelot [Lance] George Iggo - WWI No 64908, 3 July 1888 - 19 May 1957
Born in Bluff, one of 13 children to Thomas and Amelia (nee Gibson). Married Catherine Josephine Fraser, children - Keith, Ainsley, Kathleen and John. Pre-war occupation was as a travelling salesman, post war worked as a sewing machine repairman and painter. Lived in Hastings.
Eric Albert Cochrane Henderson - WWII No 46421, 4 Nov 1912 - 3 Oct 1981
Born in Invercargill to Albert and Eliza (nee Cochrane), and had three siblings. Lived and went to school at West Plains, then 165 Chelmsford St, Invercargill when he married Elizabeth (Betty) Dryden (born 1912). No children. Occupation was as a salesman for McCracken and Walls and Beggs selling radios, as well as for a tyre company in Gala St selling types and car parts.
Embarkation 1941. Awarded DCM by General Freyberg for bravery in Egypt and Libya in 1943. Nicknamed "Tiny" as he was 6'6" tall.
Charles William Henderson - WWII 72363, 6 May 1916 - 26 Mar 1968
Parents Arthur and Jane (Frew), one of eight children. Lived in Invercargill, wife Annie Catherine. Children Arthur, Diane, Stewart, Sharon, Linley, Pamela. Occupation bus driver. Cousin to Eric and Dot.
John Forbes (Jock) Henderson - WWII 17716, Jan 1907 - 4 May 1978
Born to William and Janet (nee Rodger), in Wyndham, and had two siblings. Married to Marion [May] McQueen. Occupation was a mechanic for PH Vickery in Invercargill. Cousin to Eric and Dot.
Dorothy (Dot, Dorrie) McQueen Henderson, 22 Nov 1919 - 1 Sep 2009
Sister of Eric. Occupation before marriage was as a nurse aid during the war. Married Edmond James Regnold Stuck (1909-1989), 27 Jul 1945, and had three children - Raewyn, Margaret and Averil. Lived at West Plains, then Dunns Rd Otatara all her married life from 1945 until her death.
