Overview
In this interview, valda talks about her early life in the Nightcaps area and moving from there to Winton during her school years and then Invercargill. She describes her career starting working in nurseries and going on to manage the rose gardens in Invercargill's Queen's Park. She talks about her love of roses and her favourite varieties and also of the apprentices who came to work with her.
