Overview This interview was recorded as part of a project to celebrate of 125 years of Women's Suffrage in New Zealand. In this interview Tara speaks of her education, playing sports and working on the family farm at Drummond. She attended Southland Girls High School and after a year at SIT studying nursing became a ‘Rousie’ with a shearing contractor which led to the opportunity for her to shear in the UK.
