Content Description From the Record Group: These two postcards came from the postcard collection of Walter Sutherland Tompkins. W.S. Tompkins was born in Mangaweka 1901 to Ernest Walter Tompkins and Catherine Jane (nee Cockburn). Many of the family aunts and uncles would send Walker postcards for his Birthday, Christmas or just to let him know they were thinking of him. Walter was a great collector of postcards and had approx. 100 in total. The two donated to the Invercargill City Archive are the two speicfically identified as being...
